Towering pines and graceful palms, sparkling lakes, and manicured lawns set the canvas for homeowners to experience a tranquil lifestyle in an Old Florida setting. With just over 550 homes in 14 different neighborhoods, Breakers West is an intimate community with lots of open space and a diversity of architecture. The three-mile main road is always active with both seasonal and year-round homeowners–either jogging, walking, biking, pushing a stroller, or, of course, driving golf carts.

 
Within the community, there are two prestigious country clubs both known for their championship golf courses: Breakers West and Mayacoo Lakes. Unique to this community, club memberships are available to homeowners but are not mandatory.
 

Breakers West Country Club, owned by The Breakers Palm Beach, is a non-equity club and offers 5 different membership levels–several with reciprocal privileges at The Breakers in Palm Beach for golf, tennis, and their renowned Beach Club. At Breakers West, members can enjoy the challenging Rees Jones Course, 7 Har-Tru tennis courts, 2 pickle ball courts, large pool and hot tub, Fitness Center, Kids Club as well as the Clubhouse bar and restaurants.

 
Mayacoo Lakes Country Club, founded in 1972, offers its members four different membership categories. Mayacoo Lakes’ golf course is Jack Nicklaus’ first design and in 2007 was redesigned by Kipp Schulties winning the 2008 Golf Digest award for “Best Golf Course Re-Design”. Mayacoo Lakes members enjoy golfing where no tee times are required, an active tennis program, and a swimming pool with an outdoor snack bar along with a socially active membership. Members can enjoy a casual lunch on the grill or dinner in the dining room.
